Twenty six kilometres of Lake Huron shoreline frames the west boundary of Bluewater. The beach is a place for inspiration and reflection, fun in the sun with family and it provides the most breathtaking sunsets in all of Ontario!

Bluewater boasts five distinct public beaches, you can visit them all!

Bluewater's most popular beach location, Bayfield's Main Beach, proudly boasts a Blue Flag status, fully equipped life saving station, drive up access, parking and public washrooms.

Located next to the Marina, you can enjoy a stroll on the pier, a fresh water swim or just take in the sunshine on the large sandy beach. Located only a short walk from the Historic Village of Bayfield's restaurants and boutiques, this beach is a great option for those looking to enjoy a day on the shores of Lake Huron!

Sometimes referred to as the Howard Street Beach, this beach is located just south of Bayfield's Main Beach. It is reached by way of a staircase with approximately 80 steps to the sandy shore. Bayfield's South Beach provides views of Bayfield's famous shipwreck.

Located at the end of Pavilion Road, just south of Bayfield, you will find Houston Heights Beach.

Ample parking, a large picnic pavilion (with washrooms), a wood lot and a small play area with swings for the kids can be found in this park like setting. This secluded location offers access by way of a staircase with approximately 85 steps down to the sandy shores.

This location is great for families looking to escape the crowds.

The beach at St. Joseph's is popular with local cottagers. It offers drive up access and limited parking. Natural and out of the way, it's a great spot to relax and take in one of Lake Huron's famous sunsets!

At the end of Sarara's Road, on a bluff over-looking Lake Huron you will find a lookout offering the most breathtaking lake views!

The Bluewater Marina is a designated Blue Flag Marina. Located on the south side of the Bayfield River, close to the mouth of the River as it empties into Lake Huron and at the bottom of the Bayfield River watershed. The Bayfield Main Beach and the fishing pier are nearby. This facility offers pump out service, 20, 30 and 50 amp electrical service, washrooms and showers.

The marina is equipped with picnic tables, a public phone and a shuttle service. There is a nearby public launch site.

The Bluewater Marina can be accessed via Lake Huron or turn left onto Short Hill Road and right on Long Hill Road after leaving Hwy. 21 at Bayfield.
