2026 Varna watermain flushing schedule
Ontario Clean Water Agency (OCWA) will continue regularly flushing the watermains in Varna for 2026.
During the winter months, flushing will occur on the third Thursday every other month. Watermains will be flushed more frequently in the warmer months with flushing occurring monthly on the third Thursday of the month.
Scheduled dates include the following but are subject to change:
- January 15
- March 19
- May 21
- June 18
- July 16
- August 20
- September 17
- October 15
- December 17
You may experience discoloured water coming from your taps. If this happens, we suggest removing the tap aerators from your taps and flushing the cold water house lines until the water runs clear.
You may experience lower than normal water pressure from the flushing activities.
