Council Highlights—August 10

At its Regular Meeting of Council on August 10, 2026, Council of the Municipality of Bluewater:

• Appointed Chandra Alexander as Clerk-Administrator.
• Appointed Councillor Groot as the Municipality's representative on the Court of Revision for the Mud Creek Drain, to be held on October 7th at 5:30 pm in the North Middlesex Council Chambers in Parkhill.
• Awarded the tender for the Smith-Rader Drain to JLH Excavating Inc. in the amount of $129,838.68 excluding HST.
• Directed staff to apply to the Fire Protection Grant for a new Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) filling station.
• Awarded the RFP for Consulting Services to undertake an update of the Municipality's Development Charges Study to DFA Infrastructure International Inc. in the amount of $27,350.00 excluding HST.
• Entered into a Site Plan Agreement with 1803316 ONTARIO INC. and Catherine Alice Masse, as well as an agreement with the Ministry of Transportation, regarding water servicing for Infinity Ridge.
• Adopted a by-law to establish, assume and open Westshore Drive, Gulley Lane and Gulley Court.
