Making payments during Canada Post Strike

Making payments during Canada Post Strike

With notice of a strike by Canada Post given, delivery of mail such as bills and correspondence from the Municipality will be impacted. Incoming mail to the Municipality will also be affected.

Customers are responsible for paying bills on time and late charges will apply if payments are not received by the due date.

If you have mailed your property tax payment, please don’t hesitate to call our office to confirm your payment has been received. It remains your responsibility to ensure your taxes are paid on time, even during a postal strike.

To help stay current, we offer several convenient payment options for water/sewer bills, property taxes, and other municipal accounts. If you currently receive municipal bills by mail, explore our alternative payment options to find the one that works best for you and avoid the risk of future postal service disruptions. Sign up for paperless billing to ensure delivery of bills isn't affected by future strikes.
