New senior programming coming to Hensall
Thanks to new funding, the Municipality of Bluewater is launching a Senior Active Living Centre based primarily at the Hensall Arena. This location will offer a variety of programs and activities designed to keep older adults active, engaged, and connected with their community.
While our programming us just getting started, we'll be expanding senior-oriented programming throughout Bluewater in 2026!
Here's a sample of the programs being offered throughout November:
- Cards, crokinole and coffee
- Chair yoga
- Yoga
- Cooking workshops
- Crafting workshops
We'll share information about programming through the news and recreation programming pages of our website, through the quarterly recreation guide, and through ActiveNet, our online registration portal. Be sure to check often as programs and schedules change.
