Lorne Avenue Reconstruction Project

Public Information Open House

The Municipality of Bluewater, alongside BM Ross and Associates, is planning to reconstruct Lorne Avenue from Hensall Road to Richmond Street North as part of the 2026 construction season with top coat asphalt planned in 2027.

The Municipality will be hosting a public information open house to provide an opportunity for residents and property owners to review the project details and speak with municipal staff and the project team.

Date: February 18, 2026
Time: 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Location: Hensall Arena Hall

The project generally includes the replacement and improvement of water, sanitary sewer, and stormwater infrastructure, installation of curbing, and asphalt paving. The tender may also include optional items, subject to Council approval, including additional asphalt paving of Lorne Avenue north of Richmond Street North and the potential installation of sidewalks on the west side of the road.

There will be no formal presentation. This will be a drop-in open house format, and attendees may arrive at any time during the scheduled hours. Please note that comments and opinions submitted on these matters, including the originator's name and address, become part of the public record and may be viewed by the general public and published in a report to Council, as part of a Council agenda or minutes, and may be considered as part of the project tender award process.
