Public Notice—Winter maintenance season

A reminder that Bluewater's winter maintenance season runs from November 15th to April 15th each year. If winter conditions arrive early or linger longer, the Manager of Public Works may adjust the schedule to ensure safe travel for everyone. 

Overnight parking bans are in effect from November 15 to April 15 to ensure safe and efficient snow removal. Under the Municipality's parking by-law, no vehicle may be parked on any street or highway between 3 a.m. and 6 a.m. during this period. This includes boulevards.

During the 2025–2026 winter maintenance season, certain roads within the Municipality of Bluewater will not receive winter maintenance (no winter maintenance roads). The list of roads can be found on our winter control page.
