Council Highlights—October 6

At its Regular Meeting of Council on October 6, 2025, Council of the Municipality of Bluewater:

• Approved that applications for new development in the Bayfield Settlement Area be accepted and processed as of January 5, 2026.
• Authorized an Encroachment Agreement with Bayfield Brewing Company Inc.
• Authorized the Bayfield Agricultural Society to play music and set off fireworks on Saturday, October 11, 2025 (Thanksgiving weekend) at the agricultural park behind the Bayfield Arena with all activities ending at 11:00 pm.
• Authorized an agreement with Simply Voting to provide an internet/telephone system for the 2026 municipal election.
• Entered into an agreement with May Reid for the operation of the concession booth located at the Hensall Arena.
