With notice of a strike by Canada Post given, delivery of mail such as bills and correspondence from the Municipality will be impacted. Incoming mail to the Municipality will also be affected.
Customers are responsible for paying bills on time and late charges will apply if payments are not received by the due date.
As of October 1st, all payments received by mail to date have been processed. If you mailed a payment mid- to late-last week (September 22-October 1), please don’t hesitate to call our office to confirm it has been received by our office.
To help stay current, we offer several convenient payment options for water/sewer bills, property taxes, and other municipal accounts. If you currently receive municipal bills by mail, explore our alternative payment options to find the one that works best for you and avoid the risk of future postal service disruptions.
Consider enrolling in paperless billing to ensure notices of amount owing are sent to your email.
