Active Transportation Master Plan

In 2023, the Municipality of Bluewater engaged R.J. Burnside to complete an active transportation master plan. Active transportation uses non-motorized forms of travel to get from one destination to another. It includes walking, cycling, running, skateboarding, rollerblading, and other “human-powered” travel.

The Plan will serve as a guiding document for staff and council. It sets out goals and recommendations for how the Municipality can improve active transportation networks in Bluewater going forward.
